Elisabeth Shue, Jennifer Lawrence and Max Thieriot to star in House At The End of the Street

Elisabeth Shue has had a very odd career for an actress.  She was an 80’s sweetheart after wooing Danielson in KARATE KID and then rattled off a few 80’s hits.  Then she disappeared, only to reappear with a startling performance in LEAVING LAS VEGAS, then she kind of disappeared again.  I’ve always liked her and still feel she’s underrated as an actress.  Maybe starring in a teen horror/thriller movie will remind audiences she’s still out there.  She’s set to star in HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET, which is described as being to PSYCHO what DISTURBIA was to REAR WINDOW.  So I guess if that’s an insult or a compliment depends on what you thought of DISTURBIA.

In this film, Jennifer Lawrence stars as a girl that moves to a new house with her mom (Shue), only to learn that the family across the street was brutally murdered.  Things get complicated when the daughter befriends the lone survivor of the murders (Max Thieriot).
