John Goodman will team with Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock in Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

Anything Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock touches practically turns to gold, add in a veteran comedian with a resume like John Goodman‘s and you are sure to have a film worth watching. It’s been reported that Mr. Goodman will join Hanks and Bullock in the upcoming drama EXTREMELY LOUD AND INCREDIBLY CLOSE which is an adaptation of the novel by Jonathan Safran Foer. The film follows a 10-year old boy who loses his father (Hanks) in the September 11th attacks and goes on a personal journey to deal with his loss. He is in search of a lock-box and travels the city meeting various people in their own stages of grief. Goodman will play a doorman in this film.
Production is set to get underway rather soon because the studio is looking to release this in September, which will be the 10th anniversary of the World Trade Center attacks.
