Leonardo DiCaprio will star in Mel Gibson directed Viking drama

In what may be the dream trio of the year, Leonardo DiCaprio will star, Mel Gibson will direct and William Monahan will write an upcoming Viking period drama in the vein of BRAVEHEART. No exact details on the script, but producer Graham King is describing it as an awe-inspiring story.
This is incredible news to me as I’m of the belief that Gibson can’t direct a bad film and DiCaprio very rarely stars in a bad film. They’re both perfectionists and if the story is half as good as BRAVEHEART, we should be in for a fantastic film. That, and they also have William Monahan writing the script, who did an incredible job with THE DEPARTED.
