Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol writers hired for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Posted By: Zack Bruce

It’s been awhile since any new information has been given on the reboot of the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES live-action series. Finally a development comes with the hiring on of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL writers Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec.

Paramount figures that if these guys can revive one franchise, they can revive another. Platinum Dunes has been trying to get this thing off the ground but have not really picked up any steam. There are many factors with trying to make a new TMNT live-action film something worthwhile. The franchise of the 1990s was beloved by many and often makes fans wonder if it should be revived at all.

With Appelbaum and Nemec coming on board, it brings up questions on the tone that Paramount might be going for with the new turtles. There are no specific details on the project as of yet.
