Richard Jenkins will join Brad Pitt and Sam Rockwell in Cogan's Trade

COGAN’S TRADE is one of those upcoming films where the cast just gets better and better. Today we learn that director Andrew Dominik has snagged veteran actor Richard Jenkins. The film follows Jackie Cogan (Brad Pitt) who is an enforcer investigating a robbery that takes place during a high-stakes game. Richard Jenkins will play a lawyer who helps the investigation by sharing inside information, James Gandolfini will play an alcoholic hitman who helps with the job but we still don’t know what role Sam Rockwell will play. Filming should start later this month with a release early next year.

I can’t imagine that this film will be bad. I loved THE ASSASSINATION OF JESSE JAMES BY THE COWARD ROBERT FORD which was also directed Andrew Dominik and also starred Brad Pitt so I have very high hopes for COGAN’S TRADE as well. Plus, does Brad Pitt really do any bad films? I don’t think so either.
