Shia LaBeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in the first clip from Transformers: Dark of the Moon

We’ve had a rough start to the summer movie season so far. THOR was disappointing, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES was severely lacking in just about every category and THE HANGOVER II proves comedy sequels are tough to pull off. TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON isn’t going to wow anyone, but at least with Michael Bay, you know what you’re going to get; mindless action. Love him or hate him, the guy can make you forget about your troubles for a couple of hours while he overdoses your senses with colorful violence. So it’s a little disappointing that the first clip from the film features Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Patrick Dempsey talking. Just shut up and get to the giant robots fighting each other for no reason.
Along with the aforementioned stars, the film features Tyrese Gibson, Josh Duhamel, Alan Tudyk, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich and Ken Jeong. TF3 hits theaters everywhere on July 3rd. And no, the pic below isn’t in the clip, but I’m guessing this happens around the same time.
