Troy Garity joins Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn and Josh Brolin in Gangster Squad

Filming on GANGSTER SQUAD has been underway for over a month now, but that’s not going to stop the casting announcements from coming in. The latest actor to join the insanely star-studded cast is veteran actor Troy Garity. Garity has been in several movies, but I mostly associate him with Barry Levinson’s BANDITS and Danny Boyle’s SUNSHINE. He’s a talented actor and should fit in nicely with the cast director Ruben Fleischer has assembled. In the film, Garity will play a one-eyed hitman that works for Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn). Cohen hires him to kill the two main cops that are after him, played by Ryan Gosling and Josh Brolin.
GANGSTER SQUAD has an impressive cast that includes Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin, Anthony Mackie, Michael Pena, Giovanni Ribisi, Holt McCallany, Frank Grillo, Robert Patrick, Nick Nolte, Mereille Enos, Josh Pence and Emma Stone.
