Warner Bros. to reboot Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Joss Whedon fans everywhere will cry when they read this piece of news. According to Variety, Warner Bros. is planning on rebooting BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER with Atlas Entertainment. Whit Anderson will write the script and nowhere does it mention that Mr. Whedon will be involved. As many already know, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER was created by Joss Whedon and made into a feature length film starring Kristy Swanson and Luke Perry and was later “rebooted” into a seven season series on television.
I’m extremely saddened to hear this news. BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER was and still is my go to television series when the world isn’t right. And if they don’t include Joss Whedon on this rebooting project, then the world isn’t right. So with that said, I’m going to have to go pop in one of my DVD’s and lose myself in the Buffy-verse and try to forget this news.
